Groenplaats (Green Square) is located just around the corner from the Grote Markt and is another busy square in Antwerp which is towered over by the beautiful Our Lady's Cathedral. Like Grote Markt, there are several restaurants/bars in the square with terraces during the warmer months.

This beautiful square is in the shadow of the cathedral and rimmed by restaurants and bars. We were there in the winter and there wasn't much going on. In the summer it is a great place to eat and drink. On the corner of the square is Celtic Ireland which is a great Irish pub.
